Moving Legislative Package Forward • The First Draft was completed in January 2004. • Lobbyists work towards a November Ballot. • An ad hoc legislative committee on state trust land reform was formed in early June. • Ad hoc committee reviewed the proposed changes and determined that the changes were too complex to be reviewed in such a short time. • The Ad hoc committee proposed to have the committee continue to work with the stakeholders and have an election in May of 2005.
