  1. PERSIAN LANGUAGEThe presentation is very informative and interesting, but there are too many words in the presentation and it will distract the audience. I recommend that you should put in key words only and explain to the class based on the written report.   2. A brief intro about Persian language • The term "Persia(n)" derives from the Greek and is based on the Ancient Greek reference to the whole region. Which region of the world are we talking about? Explain further. • "Farsi" is the Arabic equivalent for the name of the southwestern province of Parsathe locus what does this word mean? of various Persian dynasties.

  3. What is the history of Persian language? • Between 550-350 BCE Parsi or Persian was the language of Parsa people. Parsa people ruled Iran. This language belongs to the Indo-Iranian group of languages. What are the other languages in the Indo-Iranian language group? It became the language of Persian Empire and widely spoken from the borders of India in the east, Russian in the north, the southern shores of the Persian Gulf, and Egypt.

  4. Where the Persian language is spoken? • Parsi was the language of the court of many of Indian kings, but British banned its use. When did the British banned the use of Farsi and why? The language has been changing over the centuries and today, modern Parsi is spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Arabic Emirate and parts of Uzbekistan. Persian is a group of about 10 related languages, spoken by about 70 million people in the world.

  5. How the Persian language was changing • Persian language has been changing over time.: 1). Old Persian was spoken during Achaemeniddynasty (559 to 331 BC.) 2). Middle Persian also known as Pahlavi, after the Parthians who ruled Persia 3). Classical Persian unchanged until the nineteenth century 4).   6. Who were the famous Persian poets? • Roudaki, Ferdowsi and Khayyam are the well-known poets and philosophers, who were creating their famous poems in Persian language. In their poems they were glorifying Iranian historical past and presented their poems with a source of pride and inspiration that helped preserve a sense of identity for the Iranian people over the ages.

  7. When did the first Persian alphabet appeared? • The Persian language was written with a number of different scripts. • Modern Persian alphabet appeared during the 9th century. It is written in a version of the Arabic script and there is also a method of writing Persian with the Latin alphabet. It has 48 letters, consisting of 14 vowels and 34 consonants.

  8. Why it is hard to learn Persian? • It is hard to learn Persian language because it has very complicated grammar rules and a mixture of words from Arabic language as well. However the spoken Persian is much easier than the written one, which requires a lot of patience and attention to get learned to put it on paper.

  9. Conclusion Persian History is very rich and has a lot of literature poems came out of this history. Persia was one of the biggest ancient empires. The Persian language is a unique one and it is spoken in many countries of Middle Asia!
