  2. Introduction

  3. Vocabulary A line segment has a beginning and an end. A line has no beginning or ending. A ray has a beginning but no ending The Perimeter measures around the shape. Area measures the amount of tiles within the shape. Volume is the capacity within the shape.

  4. Circle: Circumference Circumference C=2πr =2π(7) =6.28(7) =43.98 Inches

  5. Circle: Area Area A=πr² = π(7)² = π49 =153.93 Feet²

  6. Cylinder: Volume

  7. Square: Perimeter, Area, and Volume 4 Feet 4 Feet 4 Feet. Perimeter P = 2(b+h) = 2(4+4) = 2(16) =32 Feet Area A = b(h) = 4(5) = 20 Feet Squared Volume V= (b)(h)(H) = (4)(4)(4) = (16)(4) = 64 Feet Cubed

  8. Rectangle: Perimeter 3cm. 5 cm. 10 cm. Perimeter P=2(b+h) =2(10+5) =2(15) =30 Centimeters

  9. Rectangle: Area 3 cm. 5 cm. 10 cm. Area A=bh =(10)(5) =50 Centimeters²

  10. Rectangle: Volume 3 cm. 5 cm. 10 cm. Volume V=bhH =(10)(5)(3) =(50)(3) =150 Centimeters³
