  4. MEET WITH A PROFESSIONAL TUTOR, WORK INDEPENDENTLY ON-SCREEN, OR AT DESK/TABLE

  5. STOP BY THE TUTOR INFORMATION DESK FOR WALK-IN TUTORIAL ASSISTANCE OR APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING.

  6. PROFESSIONAL TUTORS ARE AVAILABLE AND IDENTIFIED. BE SURE TO SIGN IN AND SIGN OUT WHEN YOU VISIT THE TUTORING CENTER FOR ANY REASON.

  7. COMPLETE STUDENT PART OF CONSULTATION FORM AT BEGINNING OF EACH TUTORING SESSION.

  8. BRING YOUR ASSIGNMENT AND ANY INSTRUCTOR FEEDBACK ON YOUR WORK . TUTORS WILL HELP YOU FOCUS ON A SPECIFIC AREA . PLAN FOR A 30 MINUTE SESSION FOR READING OR WRITING. MATH SESSIONS WILL VARY.

  9. PROBLEM SOLUTIONS AND REVISIONS DEVELOP FROM TUTOR-STUDENT DISCUSSION AND STUDENT CHANGES IN WORKSHEETS OR DRAFTS.

  10. YOU AND YOUR TUTOR WILL CONCLUDE YOUR SESSION WITH A SUMMARY OF THE POINTS COVERED AND THE SOLUTIONS IDENTIFIED.

  11. ONCE YOUR SESSION CONCLUDES, YOU MAY IMMEDIATELY WORK ON THE SPECIFIC PROBLEM DISCUSSED IN TUTORING.

  12. THE TUTORING AREA HAS ALL THE RESOURCES YOU NEED TO REVISE WRITING AND TO SOLVE PROBLEMS.

  13. WE WILL BE ADDING STUDENT (PEER) TUTORS TO OUR STAFF IN THE COMING SEMESTER.
