4. “An hour with abuelo” Apply the skills pg. 216 Summary: “An Hour with Abuelo” written by Judith Ortiz Cofer is a fictional narrative about a boy named Arturo who is forced to visit his grandfather at a nursing home. Arturo is self-absorbed and does not want to spend time with him since he has studying to do. However during his visit, he learns that his grandfather is a writer and teacher. In the end, Arturo is glad that he visited his grandfather.
