Sheralee Bottali Sheralee Bottali chose a modern approach to the armchair with straight clean lines. The arm chair is an oversized piece as not only can the room accommodate this but I feel it creates impact. Sheralee Bottaliin corporated a stainless steel arm rest on the right of the chair and matching feet, keeping the look fresh and modern. The main body of the armchair is upholstered in a natural weave fabricIloni by Harlequin. This will be displayed on the backrest and seat. The Fabric is made from a mix of 36% Viscose 36% Linen 28% Polyester, this is treatable for domestic upholstery; making it the correct choice. This fabric has a neutral base with a beautiful thin line of colour textured yet smooth to the eye not overpowering. A relaxed uncomplicated design with no denotes on gender, this will work well with the decor and surrounding elements. Sheralee Bottali have also chosen to incorporate a plain contrasting linen fabric Scion by Harlequin, its composition is a mix of 75% Cotton 20% Acrylic 5% Polyester. I will use this to upholster the armrest. I have also chosen to upholster the footstool in the Scion fabric; this will give the footstall its own identity as a piece in its own right but perfectly matched to its partner the armchair through The fabric colour ways were chosen to offer a non-gender pacific look which is an important consideration for Mr and Mrs Reid. colour coordination. Sheralee Bottali felt the Armchair and footstool give a comfortable welcoming approach to design, complementing the elements with light and flow of the room. I do feel that a chair should say snuggle and sit on me. With a wonderful view of the river and surrounding countryside it is imperative to have an armchair that you can relax comfortably in and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings. The Armchair and Footstall will stand out in the room, not over power the room but will work well and compliment restoration pieces by Mrs Reid. By adding her own pieces will only enhance the space. This is a fantastic bespoke addition to Mr and Mrs Reids room and will be a real talking point. By Rennie Bottali & Sheralee Bottali
