  2. Welcome toSt. Peter! • Our summer worship series, “The Christian Faith, One Word at a Time” continues this week. Our focus today is how God’s redeemed children rejoice in the opportunity to talk to our heavenly Father in prayer because Jesus has removed the barrier of our sin. May we cherish the gift of prayer!

OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE • In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. • Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of St. Peter or members of the WELS/ELS. Visitors who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.

  12. “Page Flippers” • We will not meet in August, but we are planning to read “Orphan Train” by Christina Baker Kline for the September 8th meeting. • Come join us in September in the Fireside Conference Room in the church office complex. We begin at 7:00 P.M.
