OMG! It’s almost the end of the school year! Tick Tock What’s left and how to manage and survive the next few weeks
There are only a few weeks left to this school year: • Spring Break: April 8-15 • Progress Reports April 25 • Honors Day April 25 • End Of Pathway Assessments April 16-18 • End Of Course Assessments April 29-May 9 • Final Exams May 20-23 • Last Day of School May 23
What to do if you are headed on a collision course with fate: • Take a deep breath, admit to yourself, your parents, and your teachers that this should not have happened • Ask your teacher for an Edgenuity/Grade Recovery Contract • See your counselor for After school/Saturday School Tutoring Registration, and then actually attend sessions • After School Tutoring Monday-Wednesday 2:45-4:45 • Saturday School Tutoring 8:30-12:30 • Find out what days your teachers are available for tutoring after school and then stay for help when you make arrangements to stay
EOC Exam Schedule • April 29-30 American Literature (including AP) • May 1-2 9th Grade Literature • May 3 Geometry • May 6 Biology • May 7 U S History (including AP) • May 8 Algebra I • May 9 Economics and Physical Science • If you do not take your exam at all you will receive an “I” for that class until you take the EOC (resulting in 0 credit on your transcript for that class)
