RECENT MAJOR ENGINEERING UPDATES IN THE PHILIPPINES • Construction of the South Luzon Skyway • Philippine National Construction Corporation • Extension of the elevated expressway or the SKYWAY (Nichols to Alabang) • November 27, 1995, the CMMTC, an investor, entered into a Supplemental Toll Agreement (STOA) with the Republic of the Philippines, through the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB), as grantor, and the PNCC as operator. • CMMTC has spent Thirty Two Million Seven Hundred Forty Six Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Two and Nineteen Cents ($32,746,652.19).
RECENT MAJOR ENGINEERING UPDATES IN THE PHILIPPINES • Construction of the LRT Line 3 • The LRT Line 1 North Extension (MRT-LRT) Loop Project will connect the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 1 with the Metro Rail Transit’s (MRT). • DOTC and LRTA were the two agencies assigned to implement the project. • MRT-LRT Loop involves the construction of three new stations: two at the Muñoz Market and Balintawak areas in Quezon City, and one located at the MRT North Avenue station. • An investment requirement of P5.980B was reported in the CIIP 2006. • P6.322B, based on the estimated project cost, was the approved budget for the project
