Also Required for Graduation • The state and federal governments require that students take tests each year to determine proficiency at various grade levels.  As part of the No Child Left Behind Act, all students will eventually be tested in grades 3-8, and in one grade at the high school level.  • Students must pass the HIGH SCHOOL PROFICIENCY ASSESSMENT (administered during the junior year) in order to graduate.

40. Will my child learn a different curriculum?No, the Cherry Hill curriculum is used in each MYP class.Will my child be locked in if he hates the program? No, any student who does not wish to be included in the program may opt out before the Fall of the sophomore year.What does he have to do that would not be required of him if he was not in the full program?Students in MYP need to document 53 hours of community service/year and complete a research project by January of the sophomore year.
