Bartlett High School • 22 acre campus including athletic fields and pond • Our facility has 400,000+ square feet, 135 interior classrooms, and 6 mobile classrooms • Our school colors are navy blue, hunter green and white • Our mascot is the HAWK • Approximately 230 staff members and approximately 2800 young adults call this place “home” • Average graduating class has been over 600 seniors and will welcome just over 750 ninth graders this school year

School Supplies • Students will receive a course syllabus and a list of required supplies on the first day of school from their individual teachers. • For the first day of school its recommended that students bring a folder to store any documents they receive, a notebook to record information, and something to write with. • You do not need a PE uniform for the first day of class.

TRANSPORTATION • Be patient for the next two weeks as the routes level out. • We do not allow students to ride someone else’s bus. • Students are held accountable for their behavior at the bus stops. • For the first week, we will have the busses take a few extra minutes so that students can ask questions. • On ABC days, although the students start later, busses run at the normal time.

ACTIVITIES • BHS offers a wide variety of student activities both competitive and non-competitive (i.e. athletics, student government, choir, band etc…) • Studies have shown that participation in extra-curricular activities can increase academic success • Participating in extracurricular activities can promote friendships and memories that will last a lifetime • Current information on all non-athletic activities can be found at BHS website <click> activities
