Welcome to the Martinson Elementary Health Fair The Health Fair was held in our large gymnasium and encompassed 8 stations. • Check-in table where everyone signed in for raffle drawings – such as • lunch bunch tickets for a special lunch with Nurse Mudge • electronic tooth brushes • "guess how many cotton balls in big container“ • Nutrition/ Food Group- ball toss and twister games- both highlighting the MyPlate color coded food groups.  • Oral hygiene – Anatomy of a Tooth, proper brushing and flossing techniques. • What’s in Your Drink - Display of various drinks with visual samples of the sugar in each. • Bone Growth - Height measurements, importance of Calcium and proper nutrients. • Safety - The importance of helmets, protective gear, seat belts, and car seat awareness. • Exercise –various cardio examples of exercise. •  Hand Washing –Proper Hand Washing techniques and why it’s important • Peacebuilders- Wheel of fortune style, children spun the WHEEL of KINDNESS
