Using Upper-Division Creditsto meet Lower-Division Requirements EO 595: Lower-division coursework is to be used to meet Lower-division GE requirements (EO 595, Section VIII, C1) Some CSU campuses have honored CCC certifications that use upper-division coursework (though not in policy) Using upper-division GE courses to satisfy lower-division requirements may cause student to have to take additional course to satisfy upper-division requirement after transfer
Using Upper-Division Creditsto meet Lower-Division Requirements Ultimately, the CSU campus may change the certification, applying coursework to a different area CSU recommends consulting with CSU receiving campus to discuss how upper-division course will count
