  4. Recommendations • Beter selection • Clarification of job descriptions • Separating managers and workers housing • More class time on : - risks -stress management -lifestyle -values

  5. QCTO PILOT Composition: • Theory : FET • Practical application : private provider • Workplace : a workplace mentor

  6. A lot of new words for the same thing?

  7. YES • Waste of time and money changing the format + words • The basics knowledge is unchanged • Providers applying “best practice” – not so different

  8. No • Select both student and his mentor/boss • Much stricter management of workplace experience – logbook • Less portfolio – more log book • Less maths + communication • FET challenge • Some kind of industry recognition + involvement • Exam

  9. SO…… • Students and results are looking good • Much more expensive and time-consuming • Unemployed students???? • Problems with credit value
