Tulare County CNAP Development CNAP • April 2007 - February 2008 • April 2008 - February 2009 • March 2012 - June 2012 2009 CNAP Goals: • Increase access to fruits and vegetables • Increase awareness of the current education programs and services • Increase advocacy on healthy nutrition and life styles with policy • Maximize availability and utilization of all food and nutrition programs

CNAP 2012 Principles • Increase access to and consumption of healthier foods • Support the integration of nutrition education, coordinate messages and information between programs • Support environments that promote physical activities, healthy living and lifestyles • Support and promote the impact of policies through health. • Support evidence based approaches with measureable outcomes
