What is needed? • Developing alternativesto imprisonment • Preventing female-based social violence • Providing proper healthcare service including dental, obstetrician and reproductive clinics • Providing the same healthcare as in the society • Encouraging and supporting the participation of female who use drugs through KDS (Peer Group Support) which is organize and support by themselves

Lesson learned and recommendation • KDS, as a place for ODHA (people living with HIV), should receive support including from government. • Recommendations for improving gender issues in female IDUs are: improving access to information services, healthcare and opportunities for female IDUs. • In response to these needs there must be: 1. An access to female-based information services. 2. An access to female-based healthcare. 3. An access to female-based opportunities.
