What is needed? • Developing alternativesto imprisonment • Preventing female-based social violence • Providing proper healthcare service including dental, obstetrician and reproductive clinics • Providing the same healthcare as in the society • Encouraging and supporting the participation of female who use drugs through KDS (Peer Group Support) which is organize and support by themselves

  5. KDS (Peer Support Group) We care and responses to your needs!

  6. Lesson learned and recommendation • KDS, as a place for ODHA (people living with HIV), should receive support including from government. • Recommendations for improving gender issues in female IDUs are: improving access to information services, healthcare and opportunities for female IDUs. • In response to these needs there must be: 1. An access to female-based information services. 2. An access to female-based healthcare. 3. An access to female-based opportunities.
