SOME REMINDERS FOR EVERYONE • Target will be very difficult and challenging but a lot of fun. • There will be frustration and possibly tears. • It is o.k. to make mistakes. • It is important for your child to take responsibility. • Please do not do homework for your child or sign a long range planner if work is not complete.
PREVAILING PRACTICES • Gifted students should not be expected to make up missed regular classroom work or homework on scheduled Target day • Target homework will be assigned on Target day. Students should make every effort to complete the majority of target homework the day it is assigned. It is always a good idea to look back over the homework the night before Target to review and be ready for the Target day. • Although Target students do not have letter grades on their report card, it is target practice to assign number and letter grades to tests, projects, and some daily work.
