  3. Accommodations • Services delivered in Instructional Strategies bell. • Students complete quizzes only. • Mastery-based 60%. • Answer Feedback. • Allowed 3 fails before reset.

  4. Application Process • Student must be on an IEP. • Complete an application for each course and submit to Horizons Coach. • Application is reviewed; If accepted it becomes a Contract. • Priority given to Seniors. • Adequate Progress – Pacing.

  5. What’s New: • New Name – Horizons • Recovered Credit vs. Original Credit • Full-time coach on both GEHS and AHS campus • 15 Licenses on each campus • New courses offered for 2011-12

  6. New Courses: • Financial Literacy • Probability and Statistics • Multicultural Studies • College Career Prep: 9th grade • College Career Prep: 11th grade • Participatory Media (social networking) • Sociology

  7. Progress • Weekly Progress Reports • Horizon Coach submits for credit upon completion of course.
