  2. The Political Spectrum • A political spectrum is a way of comparing your political views and ideas with others. It is sometimes described as a continuum that allows your views to fall along at least one geometric axis. • The following test will allow you to assess your political views. Go to the following link and thoughtfully take the test. Please answer all 25 questions. • Typology Test

  3. After answering all 25 questions, use your results from yesterday to answer the two questions about Democrats vs. Republicans and Liberals vs. Conservatives. • Complete the short survey questions then click on “Calculate My Results”

  4. Answer the following questions: • In what group or category were you placed? • Do you agree of disagree with the Basic Description of your political group? Why or Why Not? • What are some of the Defining Values of your political group? • Look at the Lifestyles Notes section. Which statements are true and which are false for YOUR behavior?

Next, click this link Analyzing the Issues, and select three (3) issues that are important to you and complete the information below. • Issue # 1____________________ • What percentage of your political group favors this issue? Opposes? • Issue # 2____________________ • What percentage of your political group favors this issue? Opposes? • Issue # 3____________________ • What percentage of your political group favors this issue? Opposes?

  6. YOU HAVE NOW COMPLETED THE WEB PORTION OF ASSIGNMENT. • Lastly, using page 11 of your PowerPoint Slide Handout, list some of the typical conservative/liberal beliefs that you agree with.
