  2. Pre-reading: • Look at the picture: • what do you think the story is about? • Underline all the verbs in the story.

  3. "Oohhh!!" says Mr Carmi." I feel terrible! My head hurts and my throat hurts. I think I have a cold." Mr Carmi works with computers in a big office in town. His boss says, "Mr Carmi, you are sick. Call your doctor!" "You are right!" says Mr Carmi. He calls Dr Kay. He says, "Doctor, I feel terrible! My head hurts and my throat hurts! Please can you help me?" Dr Kay says, "I'm sorry! I'm busy today. Take some aspirin and drink hot tea. It is only a virus!" The next week, Mr Carmi is at work. He feels better. The telephone rings. It is Dr Kay. "Help!" says Dr Kay. "My computer is broken. Pleas can you come and fix it?" "I'm sorry, Dr Kay", says Mr Carmi. "I am busy today. Take some aspirin and drink hot tea. It is only a virus!“

  11. Rules For Adding S To He She It • We add es to the base form when the verb ends with ch, sh, s, x, z, o watch watches O S Sh Ch X Z
