  1. What is Flange? A flange is an outer or inner ridge, or a rim (lip), for strength, such as an iron beam flange, such as an I-beam or a T-beam; or for connection to another component, such as a pipe end flange, a steam cylinder, etc., or a camera lens mount; or for a railcar or tram wheel flange.

  2. Flanges are pipe components bolted together using a gasket between two flanges as a sealing material. Flanges are used as a connecting material to link pipes to each other to connect pipes to flanged valves, to connect pipes to flanged fittings, to connect pipes to specialty flanged plumbing devices such as strainers and to insulate blind flange piping components. Flanges are pipe components bolted between two flanges together with a gasket.

  3. Flange MS As per ASME B16, the maker is MS Flanges. The stock scale is from 1/2" NB to 24" NB, and up to 48" NB flanges and higher sizes can be supplied by apex.
