  1. Mr. Drakes 12 Grade Physical Education Class

  2. The Running Man • The running man is simply done by running in place but sliding your down foot backward rather than picking it up. It is an easy version of a moonwalk

  3. Leg Cross/Salute • After you pick up their right leg on the eight count of the running man, the right leg will cross over the left leg until the foot hits the floor. This is one count. Next bring the right foot back to have your feet shoulder width apart. While you bring your foot back bring your right hand to your head like you are saluting a flag.

  4. Right Wall Turn • When the students reach the saluting position they will then turn their right foot to the closest wall on the right. They will then bring their left foot to face the same wall then slide it backwards when it hits the ground for a total of 2 counts.

  5. Paddle Turn • After the students are facing a new wall they will use a paddle turn for four counts so they will be facing the wall they originally were facing when the dance began.

  6. Alternate Hops • After returning to the starting position students will alternate hop. They will first hop to their right on their left foot for 2 counts, then to the left, while hoping on their right foot for 2 counts. Finally students will hop to the right again on their left foot for 4 counts, making a total of 8 counts.

  7. Right Wall Turn • When the students reach the saluting position they will then turn their right foot to the closest wall on the right. They will then bring their left foot to face the same wall then slide it backwards when it hits the ground for a total of 2 counts.

  8. Left Wall Turn • After the left foot slides backward students will then do a left wall turn to face the direction they started in.
