Students: a. apply existing knowledge to generate new ideas, products, or processes b. create original works as a means of personal or group expression

  3. Objective Student will be able to begin to compare and contrast key literary elements (e.g., symbolism, metaphor and simile, alliteration, personification) in more than one genre and/or by more than one author. Student will be able to begin to develop a digital jump start to demonstrate creative thinking, apply existing knowledge and form original works.

  4. Can you think of an example of repetition in one of the Chronicles of Narnia and Star Wars movies?

(If you are having trouble accessing your e-mail, • the quotations may also be found on the back of this page). • Label which literary device(s) you chose. • Add at least one picture to your PowerPoint presentation to • illustrate the quotes you chose. • Add a video clip to your PowerPoint presentation to represent • the quotes you chose. • Add music or sound to reflect the quote you chose. • For homework, complete the above steps and add two more • quotes, pictures, video clips and sounds.
