  5. Family • Mark 6:4 - Jesus said to them, "Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honor."

Disciples • Matthew 26:21-23 21  And while they were eating, he said, "I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me.“ 22  They were very sad and began to say to him one after the other, "Surely not I, Lord?“ 23  Jesus replied, "The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me. • Matthew 26:71-75

  8. Religious Leaders • Mark 14:1 - Now the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread were only two days away, and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some sly way to arrest Jesus and kill him. • Mark 14: 61b - 65

  9. Government Leaders • Mark 15:15 Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

  10. Jesus Forgives Us In Spite Of Our Dishonor

  11. Jesus Forgave Us • Luke 23:34 - Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

  12. Jesus Gave Himself For Us • Ephesians 5:1-2 1  Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children 2  and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

  13. Jesus Gave Us A New Command • John 13:34-35 (NIV) - 34  "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35  By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

  14. Turning Dishonor Back To Honor • Showing bold faith vs. passive faith • Showing loving relationships vs. judgmental or harsh relationships • Spending regular time with God vs. being too busy for God • Sharing your story of Christ vs. avoiding mentioning you are Christian
