  2. Where did it come from? • This art is from one of the oldest types of art in the sixth century in China. It was transported from China to Japan by Buddhists and monks. It takes part in the art of folding paper and was quickly developed in the 1200s in Buddhist rituals, where it had rapidly got a big success.
