Types of KN95 mask available in the market guides.co/g/types-of-kn95-mask-available-in-the-market/194094 Guide to different types of KN95 mask The following guide briefly discusses the different types of KN95 mask and their main uses. Firstly there are disposable masks available which are usually worn during the day. You can either wear these masks to cover the entire nose and mouth or you can also utilize the thin chin strap to hold the mask over the nose and mouth. You can also place a face shield over the nose and mouth if preferred but this can block some of the higher quality natural allergens that the body releases when we breathe out. Next, there are nasal masks that are worn during the day or for night time use. The nasal design of a mask is generally cup-shaped plastic or cloth that holds a light-colored mask within a clear cup. Some designs have a small hole at the bottom of the cup design which allows to open the nasal area whilst still holding the mask in place. The design of a nasal mask will differ depending on the person you are buying it for. Some people prefer to keep their nasal passages open when they sleep which can help them avoid exposure to irritants in the air such as pollen or dust mites. There are masks available that are more functional and more like a regular headband designed to fit over your head. These types of headbands are generally used to keep hair loose whilst you sleep. They are comfortable and secure enough to prevent the face from moving during the night. A chin-up respirator often comes with a mask that fits like a bandanna over the mouth and nose but does not have any cup designs. The last major difference between the three types of KN95 mask is ventilation design. The disposable masks are mostly used during the day as they are simply used to provide some form of ventilation for breathing whilst you sleep. The more functional designs, however, often have a full face mask that provides ventilation through a clear inner lining and adjustable straps or bands that adjust to fit a specific shape. These types of respirators have a great potential to prevent dust and other particles from entering the breathing system and one can also wear them during the daytime. 1/1
