Summer Work • Go ahead and begin working on those multiplication tables. • Remember to review addition and subtraction to 20. Students should know those facts quickly. • Do you ever have change in your pockets? Put it on the table and see if your child can count it. Maybe allow the child to have it if they can count it.
More Summer Suggestions • Have your child write a few letters to grandparents or friends over the summer. • Take pictures and have them journal about those pictures- maybe keep a scrapbook about your summer adventures. • Read! Read! Read!- Spend time at the local library. Let your child have fun choosing age appropriate books!
