Modifying FireRMS Mobile Inspection Report • Step 1 • Set up desired signatures through FireRMS Desktop at Tools, Customize, Occupancies, Occupancies then select the Letters Template Tab.
Modifying FireRMS Mobile Inspection Report • Insert any desired Header or Footer • Insert any desired text above the <recipient> line. • Create unlimited additional signature boxes by creating signature tags. • Examples: • <Owner> • <Inspector> • See previous slide.
Modifying FireRMS Mobile Inspection Report • Go to any FireRMS Mobile device and get a copy of MobileInspectionReport.rpt and MobileInspectionSignatureSubreport.rpt to use in Crystal • Save the MobileInspectionReport.rpt as CustomMobileInspectionReport.rpt. (Note: we CustomMobileInspectionReport.rpt resides in the reports folder on the FireRMS Mobile device, it will supersede the MobileInspectionReport.rpt
Modifying FireRMS Mobile Inspection Report • Open the CustomMobileInpsectionReport.rpt with Crystal • The report is currently delivered using two stored procedures to return the current data. • The report is ready to go as is so there is no need to worry about parameters.
Modifying FireRMS Mobile Inspection Report • Replacing the generic Fire Logo • Simply delete the Logo Sub-Report and insert any .jpg that you want to use for your logo and size appropriately.
Modifying FireRMS Mobile Inspection Report • Removing data elements • Simply delete any delivered data elements that you do not desire on the report • Adding data elements • If you desire additional data elements that are not part of the stored procedures that the current report uses, simply add any Occupancy tables to the report. (Note: remove all links from the SP and Tables. CR will give you a warning about multiple starting points, but don’t worry about the warning.
Modifying FireRMS Mobile Inspection Report • Suppressing Sections to create different output reports. • Note that the Name of the report is based upon the Action Taken. This will be located under the department address in Page Header A called ?ReportTitle. See next slide.
Modifying FireRMS Mobile Inspection Report • Suppressing Sections to create different output reports. • Next, in the CR section that you desire to suppress on certain reports, go to the section expert and select the Suppress X-2 Button and create a formula similar to the one below. • UCASE({?ReportTitle}) like "*OPS RE-INSPECTION*“. The * is a wildcard field. • See following slides.
Modifying FireRMS Mobile Inspection Report • Adding other documents to be signed with the Inspection Report. • Add another section report footer. • Insert a subreport. • Browse and select MobileInspectionSignatureSubreport.rpt. • Right click on the new subreport and select format subreport. • Select the Subreport tab. • In the Subreport name field, change signature to a new name (i.e. disclosure). See next slide.

Modifying FireRMS Mobile Inspection Report • Save the Crystal Report to the network Crystal Report folder established under Tools, Administration, System, Mobile Settings then Update Crystal Report on Mobiles (see next slide)
