All Rotarians who are involved in any regular work with children through Rotary must have PVG scheme membership for Rotary. Even if they are already a scheme member for another organisation or for work.
Remember. It is illegal for any Club to offer regulated work with children or protected adults to any person who is on the barred list. The only way to find out if someone is on the barred list is to make an application to the PVG scheme. It is a standard condition of your Rotary insurance that you use best practice procedures in the management of child protection.
