Findings and Notes • 16 alerts active this week, 351 total alerts • 138 true positives, 213 false positives • NYSE C15: • Decrease in FPs this week due to less camera movement by security personnel on NYSE C15 camera-1003. However FPs caused by reflections and camera movement continue to be a problem. This accounted for 25% of this camera’s FPs. • The fixed position of NYSE C15 changed early in the week causing an incorrect Region of Interest (RoI). This accounted for 30% of this camera’s FPs. Re-aiming camera does not eliminate reflections. It must be shielded from the light source • Field testing configuration changes: using Regions of Un-interest and camera movement detection • FEDRS FRB#02: • Continued high FPs on this camera • Field testing configuration change using an aspect ratio filter to ignore loitering people • NYMEX C1: • Surge in FPs this week • Caused by traffic lights reflecting off wet pavement at night • No immediate solution Video Analytics – Week Ending 2/19/12 All (2.2) No Obj(1.3) (averages taken over weeklong periods, excepting when cameras are down)

Findings and Notes • 138 true positives • 8 staged events • Fewer TPs this week due to a decrease in guard activity at NYSE and maintenance at service elevator. Guard is still present at NYSE. Video Analytics – Tracking True Positives The number of true positives is not a direct indicator of the accuracy of the SVS system, because activity varies from week to week. Instead, the number of true positives is indicative of the operational environment.
