  6. Comment Resolution Progress Done!

  7. Revised Draft… not necessary! Editorial changes will be performed by IEEE-SA. TG4 will provide recommendations based on comment resolution document created this week.

Low Rate UWB Interest Group Brainstorm of Applications best served by UWB LR PHY • These are evolutionary applications but unmet by the present standard • Packaging and inventory in close proximity (complete inquiry in short time) • Inventory (Supply chain) management • Security tags & Safety tags • Implanted medical devices • Tracking of parcels, capital equipment

Qualities/Capabilities of Interest • Precision location • Ultra high density • Unlicensed operation • Ad-hoc deployment • High aggregate throughput • Coexistence with high power ISM devices • Good tolerance to multipath • High noise immunity • Extended range • Lower cost and lower power • Automated provisioning
