Appendix A: ICD-9-CM Codes Appendix A: ICD-9-CM Screening Codes for Casefinding (Includes updates through October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014) The following lists are intended to assist in identifying reportable neoplasms in casefinding sources that use ICD-9-CM* codes to codify the diagnoses. Revisions and updates to ICD-9-CM codes are released annually. This list should be reviewed annually and any changes made. Casefinding should include primary diagnoses and any subsequent or secondary diagnoses.
