  1. We accept one another, for we are accepted in Jesus.

  2. Romans 15:7-12

  3. We accept one another, for we are accepted in Jesus. Therefore:

  4. One: We overlook our differences. • Sometimes those differences are ethnic. • “God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them” (Gen 1:27). • “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Gal 3:28). • Sometimes those differences have to do with opinions. • “Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things” (Rom 14:1). • Phil 2:1-4.

  5. Some questions about opinions: • Is my opinion consistent with Scripture? • Am I trying to bind my opinion on someone else? • Is my opinion going to harm someone else?

  6. Two: We glorify God. • The name of Jesus is worthy of all praise. • God has given Him “the name which is above every name” (Phil 2:9). • Rev 5:9-10. • Singing begins in the heart. • You are to be “singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” (Eph5:19). • You are also to be “singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Col 3:16). • Does your praise come from your heart?

  7. Are you glorifying God with your life?
