  4. AAR • May 9th, 2019 • Mandated by HPP Grant • 20% of Acute Care Beds in Region (VHASS Numbers) • 1799 beds (16 hospitals) • 90-minute scenario • Hospitals evacuating • SOVAH Martinsville • SOVAH Danville • Carilion New River Valley Medical Center • Total of 368 beds (VHASS Numbers)

  5. AAR • Actual virtual beds (using real numbers) • 292 evacuated • Surge acceptance • 62 discharged home • 28 to long-term care • 331 beds identified within 90 minutes • Transport – 140 available transport • ALS • BLS • Wheel Chair • Police • Ambulatory • 78% beds available for current needs
