  2. Purpose The intention of this presentation is to: • provide a summary of notable changes from ISO 10006:2003 to ISO 10006:2017 ISO/TC 176/TG 01

Introduction Introduction to ISO 10006:2017 • The standard outlines quality management principles and practices in projects • Concepts and guidelines in the standard can be widely used for any size of project and by personnel who manage projects to conform with ISO 9000 family of standards • The standard emphasizes the top management and each levelof responsibility in the project • This document addresses the concepts of both “quality management in projects” and “quality management systems in projects” • Published November 2017 ISO/TC 176/TG 01

  4. Main Changes Main changes of the ISO 10006:2017 revision Aligned to ISO 9000:2015, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21500:2012 This document employs the process approach, which incorporates the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle and “risk-based thinking” ISO/TC 176/TG 01
