Business Goal One In one of the best-known formulas to predict presidential elections, devised in 1981 by historian Allan Lichtman, SEVEN of 13 "keys" have turned AGAINST the GOP, enough to forecast DEFEAT of the party that holds the White House.

Business Goal Three Dear Team Executive and Team Leadership, We're pleased to report a fantastic beginning to the recently established UCF / Florida Virtual School partnership. The partnership is a multifaceted collaboration with UCF's College of Education in the areas of pre-service educator instruction, research, and a Spring '09 internship program. The possibility of FLVS serving as an online host for a first-of-kind statewide Clinical Educator training, as well as an eventual eLearning degree program also exist. A successful venture the magnitude of this partnership obviously involves the leadership of many folks: Teresa King (English III Instructor) has done masterful work in coordinating UCF course presentations. With these, we've represented ourselves with our best -- Kim Rugh, Dawn Towle, Christi Wright, Marie Mitchell, Renee Mitchell, Kristan Ellison, and Stacey Rimmerman. Beth Miller (Professional Learning Specialist) is coordinating an exemplary pre-service internship program to commence in Spring '09. Maribel Jimenez has been instrumental in this program as well. A F2F internship kick-off is being planned for first week of January. Calendar invites and info for all to follow. With an internship program already established with UF, and promising contacts at both FAMU and FAU, we're making great strides in making pre-service teaching opportunities available at FLVS throughout Florida's SUS. Please take time to review some of the testimonials from UCF staff below. Let us know if you have suggestions for the future direction of the partnership! Just the beginning of a very exciting collaboration in transforming education! Brian (I believe this Gator is becoming a fan of the Knights!)
