In your bowl you have 50 fish. 10 high value (peanut M&M), 20 low value (Skittle), and 20 trash fish (Plain M&M) • You will start the first decade of fishing using a fishing pole (Straw) with your hands behind your back. • To survive the decade your fishing company must catch at least $10 worth of fish per person plus a $10 overall profit • High value fish = $10 • Low Value Fish = $5 • Trash Fish = $0
1960 • It is now 1960 you have 20 second to catch fish using your pole (straw) with your hands behind your back. • Record the number and type of fish on your data sheet. • For the next round take each type of fish left in the ocean and multiply it by 2. • Determine your profit!!!! • If a crew member did not collect $10 worth of fish he must sit out the next round.
