Development of Design Level Class Diagrams • Design class diagram is a more detailed version of the domain model class diagram. • While model class diagram focuses on business problem, while design class diagram focuses on object-oriented realization of the system. • Adds methods required for use cases; Navigation visibility and attributes are updated as needed. • Preliminary design level class diagram is used to develop interaction diagrams. • Domain diagram is partitioned into packages by layers (view, business, data) or related functions. • Stereotypes for classes are declared (entity, control, boundary and dataAccess).
