Shining the Light by Diligence • We must be persistent • Titus 2:1-10 teaching for better homes and better workers • The reason is the daily influence we wield v.5,8,10 • Sense of purpose and demonstration of joy overcame rough persecution in Philippi Acts 16:25-34 • Motive is the key to motivation and diligence

Shining the Light by Love • What is the wayJesus said we would show the world that we are His disciples? • John 13:34-35 • The new command has a new object“one another”it is new equality in Christ Gal. 3:28 • The new command has a new degree of love “as I have loved you” Romans 5:6-8 • The new command has a new purpose“by this all will know that you are My disciples” • Unity is for the same purpose John 17:21-23

Shining the Light by Love • Unity is for the same purpose John 17:21-23 • Basisof unity “believe through their word” v.20 • Degree of unity “as You, Father are in Me and I in You…perfect in one” v.21,23 • Placeof unity “they be one in Us” v.21 • Purposeof unity “that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” v.23
