  2. Getting around Barcelona Public Transport Delegates and groups can purchase public transport tickets from ESC by contacting pcalabrese@escardio.org. Tickets also available at the airport and onsite at Fira Gran Via M2. n.b. The public transport system does not extend to Fira Gran Via M2. Delegates should travel to Plaza España from where a complimentary shuttle busservice will take them to/from Fira Gran Via M2 – approximate travel time on shuttle bus is 20 minutes (see route on previous page). Taxis Barcelona has a fleet of over 11 000 taxis – remember to always refer to the congress centre as “Fira Gran Via M2”. Official WCC Limousine Service Enjoy first class chauffeur service and benefit from the only drop off and pick up point with direct access to the Fira Gran Via M2 main entrance. Access to Fira Gran Via M2 No vehicles will be allowed to drop off or pick up in the streets surrounding Fira Gran Via M2 Please refer to the information below to understand where vehicles will be directed to Coaches Contracted by Industry Dropping off, picking up and waiting are restricted to Hall 5 – to reserve your space contact mfuertes@firabcn.es . Spaces cost € 50 per day. n.b. Coaches that have not reserved space in Zone 5 will be redirected to a drop off point some 500m away from the Main Entrance – reserve your coach parking space in Zone 5 now ! WCC Shuttle Bus (Plaza España <-> Fira Gran Via M2) Will drop off and pick up in front of Zone 1 and beside Zone 4 In operation from September 1 – 6, from 06:30 until 20:30 Airport Shuttle Bus Service Will drop off and pick up in front of Zone 1 – it will serve all 3 airport terminals Official WCC Limousine Service Will drop off and pick up in front of Zone 1. To pre-order a vehicle contact info@rsprestige.com Private Cars and Limousines Will access underground car parking facilities via the ramp in front of Zone 4. To pre-order parking space contact mfuertes@firabcn.es . Spaces cost € 2 / hour or € 150 for the entire event. Taxis Will drop off and pick up in front of Zone 3

Other important information Public Transport Maps WCC 2006 will provide each delegate with a map giving detailed instructions on public transport routes to and from some 200 hotels, an electronic version of this map will be online in early August. Travel Time We strongly urge you to carefully plan your journeys to and from the venue, please note that the additional travelling time from Plaza España to Fira Gran Via M2 is approximately 20 minutes. Congress Opening Hours From September 2 – 6 the venue opens daily at 07:00. Registration opening hours are 08:00 – 18:30 (starting September 1 at 10:00) Badge Access The main entrance and registration hall are located in front of Zone 2. Delegates with badges can also access the venue directly from Zone 5 (those arriving on industry buses).
