Clinical EducatorAssistant to Associate Promotion • 7 years as assistant professor • Documented scholarly works • Documented sustained, substantial contribution to educational activities • Direct a student course • Direct a residency or CME activity • Substantial contribution to med school curriculum or residency program.

  7. “Documented Scholarly Works”? • Peer-reviewed articles • Invited publications • Chapters, reviews, opinions, editorials • Enduring materials • Printed, electronic, video • Presentations at national meetings
