  7. The Y-Intercept on a Graph • The Y-Intercept can always be found lounging along a yaxis whether he is on a line or a parabola

The Y-Intercept in an Equation • A favorite hiding place of the Y-Intercept is in an equation of a line or of a parabola. • Y-Intercept is frequently found in a coordinate pair with his BFF zero. (The zero is always the first coordinate.) • Whether linear or quadratic, being a clever spy, the y-intercept always hides in the last place you would look.
