  11. Aviation Physical Qualification Update 2001 • SNFO: • Expanded refractive limits: up to +/- 8.00 D • Medical Waivers for PRK only • 20/20 vision required (corrected), waiver possible if one eye less than 20/20. • Must meet commissioning standards before aviation waivers can be granted.

  12. Waiver Topics • Must meet (or be waivered for) commissioning standards prior to aviation consideration. • BUMED 25 (CDR Grubb) is commissioning authority (medical review) • The unrestricted line ultimately grants waivers!
