  1. Top Tips to Crack the SLAT Law school dreams do come true! I recently aced the SLAT. Hence, I am here to spill the tea on how you ca,n too. I had always wanted to be a lawyer. I think it is because all my family members are lawyers. It is a noble profession that allows you to do good in society. It enhances your critical thinking skills and presence of mind. These skills are also important for performing well in other areas of your life. However, you need admission to one of the top law colleges in Hyderabad. Several private colleges under the Symbiosis banner also train you to be a lawyer. I personally wanted to study at SLS Hyderabad. That’s why I took SLAT and aced it! Understanding the SLAT The SLAT follows the same pattern as other Symbi entrance exams. You will have sixty multiple-choice questions that you have to answer in one hour. That’s one question per minute. Sounds hectic, right? It is not difficult with practice. Now, each question is worth one mark. Thank god, there is no negative marking for wrong answers. The exam will have five sections. Each section has twelve questions. The five sections are as follows: ● Logical Reasoning ● Legal Reasoning ● Analytical Reasoning ● Reading Comprehension ● General Knowledge Conquer Each Section You will have to answer all five sections with maximum accuracy to pass the exam. All sections are unique. Hence, your strategy for them must also be unique. Here are a few strategies that you can use to conquer each section. It will help you get admitted to law colleges in Hyderabad for LLB. Logical Reasoning ● Sharpen those thinking skills. You must practice logical reasoning questions like syllogisms. Practice makes perfect. Use past question papers to understand the difficulty level of the exam. ●

  2. Legal Reasoning ● ● Read up on basic legal concepts and legal terminology for this section. You can use online textbooks and other resources for this section. Reading Comprehension ● Become a reading machine. Try to increase your reading speed, as you will get only one minute for each question. Analytical Reasoning ● Analyse the analytical section beforehand. Solve the questions first that you find easy. General Knowledge ● You need to read the newspaper every day for this section. Stay updated on all your current affairs. You can purchase the latest current affairs textbooks to memorise common facts about our country. ● While these tips helped me conquer the SLAT, remember the key is consistent practice and strategic studying. With dedication, you can get admission to the best placement law colleges in India.
