GETTING STARTED • Choose a Chapter Name: Jackson High School’s Chapter: José Luis Girao (Walt Disney) • Charter Application Form filled out by you, the Asesor/Asesora (Chapter Sponsor, member of the AATSP) • Establish Criteria for Membership • Committee (Students, Faculty, Administrators) • Follow school rules/procedures (Board, Principal). • Keep goals/objectives in mind. • Draft…then approval

  6. CHARTER INDUCTION • Establish date and location • Determine eligible members. • Announce new chapter and establish meeting for eligible members for distribution of application packets. • Invitation letters • Packets

CHARTER INDUCTION • Determine members to be inducted. • Read through completed application materials that were turned in on time. • Acceptance Committee • Invite Charter Inductees to a congratulatory meeting. • Explain Induction. • Have members decide on official merchandise…Do you want just certificates?
