Form (pages 1 to 5) • Ensure that your application is complete and error-free. • Ensure thateach section isfilledwith full info (dates/name/program). • Put your PIN (if you have on) in header of all free form sections. • Don’tgiveonlyposition’sheldtitle but givesome info on the workdone. • Use plain, accessible language. • Write an application that the reviewers will enjoy reading. Aim for nothing less. • Give a maximum of info in the givenspace. 3 École Polytechnique

Outline of proposedresearch • Give details on work importance (to science, society) • Cite one or two publications (if applicable) • Maximum one page for research proposition • Add subtitles, subsections, make some space! • Respect NSERC format for publications! • Margins: 1.9 cm • Thesis completed or in progess mandatory for Ph.D. applications: use all the space.
