National Action Research and Advocacy Network • NARAN will establish an action  research network   that establishes ongoing partnerships with agencies, parent, community based and faith based organizations  as well as university programs  that address concerns about African American males and  k-16 education • ·         identifies exemplary  programs, collects and analyzes data about existing centers of excellence effecting African American males • ·         advocates for more effective programs for African American males • ·         generates reports and  web based information to assist programmatic development and policy  implementation
