Responsibilities/Duties • Acquire new fashion ideas by attending fashion shows and other events • Obtain the latest information of fashion trends by communicating with major manufacturers and merchandisers • Keep up with changing trends by keeping connections with designers • Be able to judge the direction and potential of a clothing line • Make effective advertisements and marketing plans • Put together fashion shows and photo shoots, as well as magazine events.
Education • Associate Degree Program: This program gives students that aspire to be a fashion coordinator the basic knowledge on fashion concepts, marketing, apparel and textile. • Bachelor's Degree Program: This program is more inclusive and will offer more knowledge and information about fashion merchandising/marketing.
