THINKING FOR YOUR WINDOW TINTING MAINTENANCE? THESE 3 TIPS CAN HELP Window tinting not only beautifies your building but also protects from the harsh sunlight and glare. A window tint also needs proper maintenance so it can last long. The maintenance of newly tinted windows begins right from day one. The most important thing to remember before doing anything is to give your windows enough time to dry after the tint is applied. GIVE ENOUGH TIME FOR THE SOLUTION TO DRY The biggest mistake that most people make today is not paying attention to the newly tinted windows' care instructions. Many people tend to forget that the mounting solution of new tints takes weeks to dry completely. Doing anything before the solution is dry can cause bubbly and substandard-looking window tints. In a cold climate, the window tints take time to dry, while in the hot season, they dry real fast.
USE RIGHT CLEANING SOLUTIONS Whether it is your car window tint, your office window tint or even your office tint, you need to clean the windows without damaging the film. It is, therefore, important to use the right cleaning solutions. You can keep it simple by using soapy water or diluted vinegar or methylated spirits. Remember floor cleaners, windows cleaning solutions and sprays can damage your tints so it is always advisable to avoid them. USE RIGHT CLOTHS TO CLEAN Before starting your cleaning mission, we recommend you wait for at least 30 days after installing the tints and maybe even longer if the weather is not warm, bright or sunny. Additionally, it is recommended that you use a soft microfibre cloth to clean your tinted windows. Using anything other than this might scratch the surfaces of your tints. Things like brush, scrubbing brush, abrasive sponge, paper towel, duster, old t-shirt, rag should be avoided at all costs. Contact Us: 03 9310 5997 Website: www.stgroup.com.au
