Class organization • Get the Manual at the bookstore (Phys 451 packet) • Get your CID online (department website) • Get your own lab notebook before the first lab! Labs (3 hours) S420 ESC Wednesday or Thursday or Friday Lecture (1 hour) Tuesday 1pm 254 CB
Your lab assignments Prepare by reading the introduction material Answer quiz questions (within the first half hour) and submit the sheet to your TA Proceed to the experiments: L1.1, L1.2, etc… Write a report of your findings for each experiment, in your lab notebook (individual reports)
Grades Lab report (20 pts) • Reading quizzes: 5 pts • Experiment, Data, observation: 10 pts • Discussion / Conclusion: 3 pts • Participation: 2 pts Final Test: 20 pts
